Southern Michigan Gun Club Pneumatics Air Rifle Bench Rest
The Pneumatics are members of United States Air Rifle Benchrest. We host monthly sanctioned matches durring warm weather months, monthly 50 foot matches durring cold weather months, and casual shoots on open range and airgun clinic days.

75 yard bench at SMCG

We will have our first ever 75-yard bench rest match on Saturday June 10 th from 10:00 am until whenever we finish. The match will be two relays of 25 shots each for a total of 50 shots. We will award certificates for first through third places for the winners. All targets will be scored with a .25 caliber scoring plug. The match will be $20.00 per shooter and will include decaff coffee, breakfast snack, bottled water, lunch, and ice cream in the picnic area once the shoot has been concluded. YOU MUST R.S.V.P. As a bonus!! We will roll out our new 50 yard game called “Land Mine” which was a huge success indoors at 50 feet last winter. We have adapted those targets to a 50 yard sudden death type format which should prove exciting!

S.M.G.C. PNEUMATIC’S Benchrest Rules:
- Any pellet gun up to .25 caliber may be used.
- No solid slugs or cast bullets allowed (mass production diabolo pellets only).
- 80 Ft. Lb. power restriction. (No cannons.)
- No pellet weight restrictions.
- Target distance will be at 75 yards.
- One piece rest are allowed.
- Bi-pods are allowed.
- Tethered tanks are not allowed.
- Fill as many times needed during shooting relay. Note…for safety, rifles may not leave bench during a relay so your tank should be on the bench as well. All rifles must remain pointed down range during filling!
- 25 targets per shooter
- 1 shot per target
- 5 sighter targets, one at each rows elevation.
- 30-minute time limit per relay
- 10 shooters per relay.
- All scorecards will be plugged equally with a .25 caliber plug.
- Sight in time will be a part of 30-minute relay.
