An easy to understand explanation of barrel droopBarrel DroopBarrel droop is when the barrel of a rifle is not perfectly aligned with the action of your gun. Barrel droop affects scope mounting in ways that should be compensated for. Barrels "should" be perfectly aligned with the receiver, but often that’s not the case. This downward angle makes mounting and sighting in much more difficult.
