Air Gun Pellets
Air Gunners seeking the best accuracy usually sample several pellets in their air guns looking for the pellet the gun "likes" which is airgun jargon for the most accurate pellet out of a given gun.
Crosman Premier pellets tend to shoot well out of Crosman products. If you're lucky they will shoot well out of your gun too. They are low cost and easy to find. Crosman pellets in a cardboard box are all from the same die; therefore they are more consistent and will be more accurate
JSB pellets are a great value and tend to perform well in most air guns.

.177 Pellets
.177 is the most common airgun caliber and used nearly all target shooting. It is also popular for plinking and small pest hunting. .177 caliber will be the highest velocity for a given amount of airgun energy. This (assuming the pellet is not transonic) results in the flattest trajectory. Breaking the sound barrier results in a crack and usually results in an unstable flight path.
.20 Pellets
.20 pellets were originally a proprietary by Sheridan. Sheridan claimed that caliber is the best caliber for overall use. .20 has more foot pound energy than a .177 air rifle and the trajectory flatter than a .22
.22 Pellets
.22 caliber pellet have a large gain in weight and size over both the .177 cal and .20 cal which gives it the greatest foot pound energy.
.25 Pellets
The larger diameter of the .25 projectile combined with its increased mass and Foot pound energy has major effect on game. .25's also have the ability to remain more stable in windy conditions.
Air gunners seeking ultimate accuracy sort and wash pellets.
